So the discussion is being brought up whether or not the Pats, or any team, can ever have a perfect season in this day and age. I think an equally intriguing question in the era of free agency and increased spending, is whether a team can be bad enough to go 0-16?
what do you think we will see first? 16-0 or 0-16?
RE: More likely: perfect season or winless season?
I'd agree with that. Psychologically it might be more difficult to go 16-0 since the pressure mounts the closer you go. Whereas going the other way, it become more demoralising as you lose more and more games and the more morale declines the more likely you might be to lose and so on.
RE: More likely: perfect season or winless season?
well in every major discussion you hear on the topic the numbers that get brought up are 16-0. that is a perfect season. now would it be tarnished if they didnt win the superbowl? yes. but it would still be historic if a team were to go 16-0 for a perfect regular season.
