I've been watching a few games, I noticed that in most, if not all teams, the players have the number 21 marked on their helmet.
Does anyone know what it means?
The players and teams who wear the # 21 on the back of their helmets are doing so in remembrance of # 21 Sean Taylor of the Washington Redskins, who died in late November after being shot by an intruder at his home. He was a talented free safety who was in his fourth year in the NFL.
BTW, I'd recommend that you remove this thread ASAP since you now know the answer, as you will probably receive some harsh comments and responses from some of these chat members. You probably should have known the answer to this question, and unfortunately, asking it makes it seem that you really don't know your football/ national events.
