i agree with you with being equaled. but the pats cant do that. they cheated against the jets. and no i would still say the phins would beat them.

They are two very different teams with very different players to even try and compare them is really bad. Where would you even begin, two times in life where the game is played basically the same but the skill of players is nothing alike.

Well said. They were def tougher back then...and todays players are much faster and skilled(especially on D) and that's just the tip of the uncomparable iceberg.

And here we go again with the pats cheating... Even THE don shula has backed off of his comments about the patriots. THE coach of the '72 dolphins has recently said "to give the patriots credit and respect" and he regrets saying that their season was tainted. If the coach can suck it up and offer his bottle of champagne to the pats, who are the fans to say that the '08 patriots are not worthy.

Ya'll sound like the games were fixed. Cheating is not the reason they might go undefeated. But rallying around the controversy and using it as motivation to piss on anyone challenging their greatness, could very well be. So in an indirect sort of way, I guess you could chalk undefeated season up to cheating.
