Great move at the trade before the trading deadline. Gasol would have been great in Phx also. Have Bynum back will then make the lakers the team to beat. I am amazed that the Nuggets did not do anything to try to counter the trade. Cleveland made a bold move, but was that enough?

NO way! Shaq is not working out and have you seen Kobe and Gasol they are dynamic. the suns loss Marion and Shaq is not going to be able to put up Marion's numbers.

They didn't bring in Shaq for his shooting ability, of course he won't put up Shawn's numbers but Shawn wasn't happy there anyway and didn't play like he was happy.

Kobe put up 30 pts. last night and Gasol had what 15pts. Shaq put up 13 pts., I wouldn't say Gasol is tearing anything up.

Gasol is a great asset to a team. Don't just look at one days records. He is on my fantasy team and is the reason I am in first. Gasol does not have to be the star but he is a great support for Kobe. And no he is not tearing it up but 15 points is a difference maker and Shaq does not fit in with the Suns offense. when he plays thirty minutes they lose. They are 2-3 with Shaq and it is not working. Shaq and Stoudamire have always been centers so when you have both on the court you get double the defense but lose the offense.

I think they are going to go far in the playoffs but to tell you the truth I think they are not gonna win it all. There are a lot of very strong teams in the west right now who are also aiming for the title.

Even n injured Kobe is a good Kobe. Looka t him now... a broken finger and yet he still plays better than almost everyone in the league. I can't wait until Bynum gets back then the team can really get ready for the playoffs. Gasol has played a part in the team's success, but he is not that major. He has made the team better though.

DO you think Cassell will make a good fit in Boston? It is surprising the transformation that team made... from being the laughing stock last year to a definite contender. They have so many big name guys on their team it is ridiculous add Cassell to the list and it may mean a championship.
