Free agent Asante Samuel is rumored to be in search of a ten-year, $100 million contract, including $30 million up front. Apparently he doesn't just want more than Nate Clements (seven years, $64 million), he wants much more. The way Samuel and his agent are speaking, it sounds like he doesn't have a preference of where to sign. Some GMs are pegging him as a system player, but Samuel will likely go to the highest bidder.

lol I don't know though, Asante Samuel is a beast. I wouldn't mind seeing him play for the Pats! He should drop his price down a little bit though because that is awfully high.

OIkay he is definitely not that good especially considering last season was not really the best season for him. He is out of his mind and if that is his asking price the Pats are not going to keep him. He must be out of his mind.
