Bill Belichick just picked up a $500K fine and the Pats a further $250K.  The Pats were also stripped of the first round pick in 2008 if they make the play-offs, or to forfeit 2nd and 3rd round if they don't.  Does the punishment fit the 'crime' here?

Gooddell is suspending players left and right. Belichick clearly cheats and gets a fine. Suspended him already! $500,000 and a draft pick is not enough.

If Roger Goddell can get punked by PETA, why should we be surprised? You can yank Michael Vick's livelihood over allegations, but what Belichick did was compromise the quality of the product and the brand to the public. There’s no question that there is a double standard going on here.
