This season most people undoubtedly will say A-Rod for his monster numbers this year and overall, yet he has yet to win a ring constantly "choking" in the post-season. For that reason i will have to say Josh Beckett. IF he doesn't win Cy Young, I'll be surprised. He had not only a monster year, he overall has command, and is very young, and now has already his second world series ring with a different team. The fact that he was able to get a ring with not even a superior team in the Marlins says much for his overall impact, whereas A-Rod can blast HRs all season long yet barely make post-season or fall well short of advancment.
