the browns will definatley win the superbowl cause they have derek anderson on a 3 year deal and now they have two really good recievers to accompany kellen winslow and they have improved their defense emensly with the addidtion of shaun rodgers. in the draft they might take an end or a linebacker to secure them with haveing a top 12 defense.

You're kidding me. You realize the Browns are from Cleveland. As a person from Ohio I am used to the Browns failing. I'm used to seeing every Cleveland team come close, but manage to blow it some how. There is no way they win it all. Cleveland= FAILURE!!!

I have to admit I am impressed with the people they have acquired though. They should make it into the playoffs the only question is whether they remain healthy. i don't think they are at the level of some of the other AFC teams. The COlts, Patriots, and Chargers are all amazing teams and I don't know if the Browns could beat any of them in a playoff situation.

look...because u were sayin tht cleveland never does anything, look how the cavs are doing..they are in some peoples veiws to win the nba championship..and to talk about teams goin but never finishing..im from philly..thts all they do is fail...and with all these new good players they can definatley play at the level of the teams u mentioned u jus watch

And look how the Cavs did last yea... they made it to the finals just to get swept by the Spurs. And then there is the Indians who make it far in th eplayoffs just to lose.

Philly is another team of failure, but as an Ohioan I know not to ever get my hopes up. Cleveland is a favorite, but they were last year and it didn't matter. The Browns have added lots of people, but they don't have a Brady or a Manning. ?they have a very good qb, but not a great one. They don't have a dominant WR. They have a great defense and a great RB. Their offensive line is up and they added lots of stars, but they are not going to go all the way.

braylon edwards is a top ten receiver in the nfl and they also added one of the fastest in stallworth....they have a very good receiving corps and as far as having a brady or a manning look and the ravens when they won with "trent dilfer", he sucks and they have anderson who is now confident and knows he has to play for his contract..they have a GREAT team.

true, but do you honestly think the Browns can beat the Patriots or the COlts in the playoffs. Manning may not be his best in the playoffs but still. And Edwards is a beast and Stallworth is okay. He adds something to the offense, but he is not th eguy to turn a team around... the Browns really don't need to be turned around though. All I am saying is the competition in the AFC is tough. You have the Pats, Colts, Chargers, Jags, Steelers, and Browns any of them can make a run and no you don't need a star qb to win, but you do need to be on the top of your game.

Browns are good, but I am not going to jump on the bandwagon of people who suddenly think Cleveland has a chance. I have seen Cleveland at its best and it is not enough. Maybe the Browns will break the curse, but probably not.

as a Browns fan myself this thread just makes me wanna cry! NEVER GONNA HAPPEN....MAYBE WHEN WE'RE DEAD...
