English Football Premiership

Man Utd were crowned champions of the Premiership this weekend as Chelsea failed to beat Arsenal. I'm very happy as I support Man Utd - they were my local team until recently. But, the relegation battel is continuing. Watford are down, there's a bit battle to avoid the other two spots though. Are any of you football fans? Who do you think is going down, and what about the west ham situation?...

sorry to inform you that yesterday your team got bundled out of the carling cup by lowly coventry city. with all the big name signings and all that, man utd still have a way to go this season. good luck to you in the premiership race. i am an arsenal fan and we are on top.

RE: English Football Premiership

Although it was disappointing and humiliating for Man U, I am sure their sites are set on the larger targets (Europe, the Premiership and FA.) Also, it gives great hope to the smaller clubs who rely on homegrown talent. It is heartening to see the teams who buy their way in to the top half of the league (namely, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Man U etc.) get turned over by the smaller, poorer clubs once in a while.

too right, it is more about eleven good guys who are not necessarily big stars working together who can do the trick and it can happen at any level of the game. and, of course, every dog has its day and last time it was the time of the underdog.
