winning against your arch rivals must have some divine hand behind it otherwise who can explain how a team can snatch defeat from the jaws of victory (pakistan) and hand victory from the jaws of defeat to the other (india)
Yes, I imagine for the Indians winning the world cup is a great triumph, but beating Pakistan in the final adds a little extra topping to the cake
there is nothing more to ask for in terms of national pride and joy and even days after that big day it is hard to get over the euphoria. must be like that for every world cup winning team though this one was almost out of the blue and so much more special.
