Has Shaq lost his dominance?
A lot of people are asking nowadays, did Shaquille O'neal lose his dominance as an NBA Center. Nobody could disagree that a few years ago he was the most feared center in the league. Now it just seems that he's lost that edge. I know he's getting old, and that definitely plays a big role in how dominate he is. Looks as if the days where Shaq could dominate and overpower is over.

RE: Has Shaq lost his dominance?
I understand what your saying, but I still think he is dominating a litte bit. He never had ALOT of talent, but I think Shaquille O'neal is still a great basketball player!

RE: Has Shaq lost his dominance?
I think Shaq is losing his dominance. He is slowing down, and has trouble keeping up with fast paced teams. He still can't shoot free throws very well, but he can score. Shaq can still dunk over almost everyone, but his age is taking it's toll.

Well he's older now, and in sports that usually isn't a good thing.
But he's still a decent NBA figure. He definitely earned his spot in fame along with Michael Jordan and will still be remembered years from now, but at the same time I doubt he will be on the front cover of many basketball magazines either.

RE: Has Shaq lost his dominance?
Wow really interesting post here.
I have to agree Shaq just has not been playing up to par this year. I think alot of people are asking the question, When is Shaq going to retire? I would think sooner then later.
Shaq has already proven to everyone that he can play ball, but once your done your done. No point sticking around making the Heat look terrible, I think his time has come to call it quits. Who knows though these past-star players seem like they hang on to the game forever.

I think he's too fat IMHO. He's bringing his whole team down in a big BOOM.

Really? You personally know Shaq? Rubbish... Good points about his points though. They've significantly declined. It's a pretty noticeable and drastic drop.
