RE: Is it ok to root for two teams?

I don't think there is any sport that I have more than one team that I'm a fan of.

Yes, I see no real reason for following two teams. But even if you follow two teams very closely, I think it is inevitable that you will favor one just a touch more than the other.

My take is that your favorite team is the one that you would root more if they played each other. there is no problem rooting a couple of team

You can be a fan of as many teams as you want. I really don't care. However, the more teams on your bandwagon, the less BS I expect to hear from you.

I am a Florida State fan. I am also a Florida State player fan. I hate the Dallas Cowboys, but I watched their games when Deion was there. I never cared one way or the other about Green Bay, but I sure as hell wanted to see Edgar Bennett and LeRoy Butler win a championship.

RE: Is it ok to root for two teams?

I think it is o-kay to root for as many teams if you want except when both your teams make it to the Superbowl. Personally, I find with the changes in team members that I often like certain members, but not the entire teams. More than liking multiple teams, my pet peeve it switching to a winning team when your team is losing. That drives me nuts!

Why not follow more than one team? Sometimes you might like both. Although most people living in a certain state will root for that certain team, that shouldn't stop you from rooting for another team. I say, the more the merrier!
