if you go by the selling points that various lotteries bombard you with, you would think that all you need to do is buy a ticket and immediately start counting your millions. the odds are so badly loaded against players that you could actually end up losing a fortune in the bargain.
Hmm.. Unless different from where I live (Canada) I have never seen Lottery Companies try and disguise the odds of winning.
Everyone knows the chances of winning the Lottery are so slim that they shouldn't spend their money, but for some reason they do. As far as I'm concerned I have never seen the Lotto Company claim their Lotto's are Bargains. They are a chance that people take, in the pursuit of money.
