Help me out here- my wife and I are having a Super Bowl party and I was going to get a new 50" TV but she insists we need a 60" because we're having a lot of people over.

I mean, it's not WAY outside our budget, but I just think it's really unnecessary. I don't want a big bulky TV- I want something sleek and still big enough to view. And I don't want to spend like $4k for a Sony.

She'll probably be mad at me if I don't placate her though and buy the big TV, unless I can talk some sense into her.

What do you guys think? Suggestions?
