In its annual survey of NFL salaries, USA Today determined that Pats defensive end Richard Seymour was the highest-paid player in the league in 2006, taking home $24.7 million. :-O Quarterback Tom Brady was also in the top ten at no. 6 with a total compensation of $16 million.
Nice, well they are playing the salary cap thing pretty well because they are under the salary cap and the seem to spend a lot of money on free agents.
The important thing will be whether all that money will buy them a Superbowl championship this year. They seem to have the team for it and I know they probably want it badly enough, so it might actually be theirs this year. We will see soon enough.
