I'm borderline. Manning is good, but it is hard to say he is the best right now especially when you consider some of the other guys playing. I give it to him he is better than Farve who is legendary, but the competition with Brady is neck and neck. Brady was amazing this year and Brady knows how to get it done in th eplayoffs while Manning has hit a few road bumps. Rings don't mean everything but it does say a lot about a player. When it comes to football knowledge I give Manning the edge, but when it comes to execution and who you want in the fourth quarter I have to go with Brady. Both are great and are neck in neck. Brady showed what he can do with a bunch of great wr and it was amazing. Manning has proven to be the guy during th eregular season, but I give Brady the edge...

No, wrong, I am sorry, you are wrong. Peyton Manning is NOT the best quaterback in NFL right now, not before, not in the future, not ever. Peyton manning is not all that great and has had such a shaky season it makes me sad to see people post he is good.

If Tom Brady had won this past super bowl with the undefeated season, then I would agree that he is the greatest ever hands down.
He would have 4 rings, 2MVP's, 1 super bowl MVP, and the season TD record. But he didn't so he's not. Dan Marino has the numbers but not the success. Elway has numbers and some success, but alot of failure.(partly because of Dan Reeves) Montana has success but lacks numbers. Bradshaw has success but lacks numbers. The one person that Peyton matches up with is Brett Favre. They both have one ring and while Favre has the numbers now, Peyton will have later. The only way that Brady goes down as the best is if he puts up Marino type numbers by the end of his career. He already has the success, now he needs to work on the rest of his numbers.

And no Brady does not need Marino type numbers if he wins two more rings he will cement himself in history because look at the competetion Farve, Manning, Romo. Marino was good but he couldn't win when it counted most.
