Preview: 2008 Baltimore Ravens

In the offseason, the Ravens were mostly quiet. But they did the right by firing Brian Billick and bringing in defensive specialist John Harbaugh as Head Coach.

Key Arrivals: CB Fabian Washington (Trade)

Key Departures: OT Jonathan Ogden (Retired)

Draft:
Rd 1. QB Joe Flacco
Rd 2. RB Ray Rice
Rd 3. MLB Tavares Gooden
        SS Tom Zbikowski
        G Oniel Cousins
Rd 4. WR Marcus Smith
        T David Hale
Rd 6. FS Haruki Nakamura
Rd 7. WR Justin Harper
        RB Allen Patrick

Best Pick: QB Joe Flacco - Best arm in this year's draft

The problem I see for the Ravens is the QB situation. The 3 way competition between Boller/Smith/Flacco is unnessary. It should be between Smith and Flacco.

Predicton: 8-8 or maybe 9-7.

Fired Billick? Are you sure of that?
