Texans GM Rick Smith says the team won't hesitate to start Sage Rosenfels if he outplays Matt Schaub this offseason. Despite Rosenfels' four wins in five starts last season, Schaub would have to fall into quite a slump to lose his job. Barring the unexpected, Sage will remain the "practically perfect" backup QB for the Texans.

Schaub is a pretty good QB! but he is injuried prone. Rosenfel never got the chance to play yet. This might be his shot!

They are good QB's playing in the right system. Maybe someone should make a play for D Andersen or B Quinn.
