real madrid seem to have fixed their hangover of previous poor seasons and are blazing away without big time coaches and star players. the sooner they get back to the top of europe the better it will be for all their fans and of course for football.

I'd like to see them remain at best #2 in Europe, behind either Liverpool or Man U

could be they won't exactly set the night on fire but they have the bit between the teeth which is more than you can say for man utd and liverpool who are just eking out wins. may be the law of averages will suit real madrid. they have been out in the cold for too long.
