I would have to say that Barry Sanders was one of the best players the Lions ever had on the team. Some may disagree, but he was something. I mean he had a 10 year career and rushed over 15,000 yards as a running back. I think even more important than that was his ability to get the fans really riled up and excited about the game and about him. If you can pick a Lion that was more top notch than Sanders, I would love to hear it.
