Is there anyone here that can teach me the rules of this great game... ?? Dont really have this sport here in Norway but love it and wanna know more about it... its called fotball but here in europe its a hole other thing hope there are someone willing to share their experteese
Football is fairly simple. Each team has 4 tries ()downs) to try and move the ball 10 yards. If they get the ten yards the get another set of downs. Usually if they dont get the ten yards on the third down they will punt (kick) the ball down the field to push the other team further away from the end zone where they score there point. A touchdown is worth 6 points. After the touchdown they get a free kick for one more point that will give them 7 points. If the team makes it down the field and to within 30 or 40 yeards from there end zone and its 4th down and they would not be able to get a touchdown they will kick a field goal which is worth 3 points.
There is a lot more to the game but this is a start. Watch some games or if they dont broadcast games there in Norway you can find games on youtube or other football sites to get more of idea whats going on. Have fun.
Games are on Thursday night on NFL network and Saturday night. Sunday there is a 1 o'clock and 4 o'clock game and a Sunday night game on NBC at 8 and there is also Monday night football on ESPN.

Hey you can watch the live match online at social media for football, even watch the match videos and reports. Its a community for young football fans of which you can become a member, you can buy ticket online and shop for football accessories.
It's kind of confusing at first - mostly understanding the basics of quarters and touchdowns and who is playing offense and defense can make you enjoy it a lot more...basically the more you watch it the more you'll understand it.
Do you have any friends who enjoy and watch football? You might be able to learn a lot just by watching a game with them - my hubby taught me just about everything I need to know about the game.
