Vick's one of the most overhyped players of our generation. Will he ever live up to that hype or will he continue to be an average QB on an average team?

I'd say 8-8 is where the Falcons will stay until they can Vick.

After recieving the 100 million contract, he is not the same person. Then again if you keep on changing coachs, you never get confortable with the system. I believe they made a mistake trading away schaub, but time will tell

I agree with you Coby, I was very anxious to see how he would do, so far I haven't been impressed. Things can change though, his best season could be right around the corner.

I have to disagree with one of the posts here. I think Mike Vick did not change enough after signing the contract. Why can't these guys understand that "keeping it real" only serves to keep them down? The peer pressure to "keep it real" is designed to allow these "friends" to stay in their lives when they have no business being there.

His style of football won't win a Super Bowl. He is not an accurate QB. They fear his legs not his arm.

I think they fear his dogs now more than his legs! This guy hs become an immense distraction. The Atlanta sports fans vote witth their wallet and there time. The people in that city are very busy, and the cost of living is pretty high for the southern US. They are not going to pay money to see a creep play football. He is going to hurt that franchise. And, by the way, where is the public apology any agent worth their commission would be issuing for Vick? This guy is blowing it.

Hasn't he? He is in many minds THE best QB the NFL has seen his versatility as a runner as well as a accurate hard throwing passer has only added to his reputation. I'm not sure about a super bowl, but unless they equip him with sufficient receivers he will not be able to pass as often and is why he unfortunately must rely only on his legs.
