With the additions of perennial all stars Ray Allen (arguably the best 3 point shooter in game's history) and power forward Kevin "KG" Garnett the Celtics are looking very promising. After a demolishing Home opener win against the Gilbert Arenas equipped Wizards, the Celts seem to be working on all cylinders. Pierce score 28, KG went over 20-20 (20+pts, 20+rebs.) and Allen scored 17. Such high output from all all stars would seem there well on there way to the Championship. Even if one has an off night, one can step up. A big problem this year is obviously the bench for of young guns and unknowns. But the starters will be so explosive that much of a bench won't be needed. Veteran and all round player Eddie House, Glen "Big Baby" Davis, veteran James Posey and young gun Leon Powe have good enough skills to be sufficient in my opinion. So, what do you all think of the Celtics chances this year and how far do you all think they will go?

I want to see KG win his first championship, and I'd have to say that they have the talent to do it. Is it possible? Yes. Do I think it will happen? Um... Not completely sure but I don't really know of a specific team that can keep up with them in an 7 game playoff series.

I think the Celtics definitely have the talent to make it to the finals. They are undoubtedly the best team in the Eastern Division. I'm not so sure, however, if they can win the title. There are some very good teams in the West. I 'm pretty sure that they will end up in the NBA finals!

I think the Celtics have a damn good chance to win it all!! but theyll have to go through detroit and Pierce is gonna have to step his game up! just think...they recently tried to bring Reggie Miller out of retirement to play back up for Pierce! thatd be one hell of a ball club OMG!!!
