wtf is up wit miami
miami was once one of the greatest teams in the league and now their jus a joke. one of parcells first moves as the new vp was to cut qb trent green and their best reciever marty booker. wut do you guys think they should do like who should they draft and try to get through free agency?

RE: wtf is up wit miami
The draft will be huge for them, if they can come to terms with Dallas for the trade where Marion Barber III would head to Miami in exchange for dallas's 1st round and 3rd round picks, or whatever the deal was, then they can start the rebuilding process by picking up more players that can make an immediate impact.
Trent Green might still have a place in Miami, it was reported that he and the Dolphins are still in talks despite the release of the veteran QB, so I expect him to return to either groom a young QB or be the starter. As far as Booker goes, I agree he was there best receiver AFTER Chambers, so why they got rid of him is a good question. He is old, and he didn't put up huge numbers, so maybe they just needed to clear up salary cap space and thought he was starting to decline and decided to release him early like the Patriots did with Lawyer Milloy.
Parcells is a great judge of talent, this is a widely agree'd upon belief among experts and players, so I trust that the players he cut had it coming and I expect him to sign some good free agents and draft some good players. There are a ton of names out there, Asante Samuel could end up in a Dolphin uniform as well as Lance Briggs or the often injured Dan Morgan, tho he is a great player. The bottom line is that the Dolphins WILL get better, it will just take a couple years for the progress to start to show

Miami should trade their number 1 overall for a lot more then just Marion Barber IMO...Booker is only 31 he's not that old, when you think about it the Dolphins lost 2 games in OT and lost 5 more games by 3 or less points, they could have gone 8-8, yeah I know coulda, shoulda, woulda...
Lifes a bitch, dont vote for one!!!

Dolphins need to do something. They should trade downso they can get two early picks. Pcik up a defensive player. there main concern however is getting a qb. Lemon is not a franchise qb and Beck is not either. dolphins screwed up royally by not picking up Quinn... especially since Ginn is not the player he was thought to be. sure he put up the numbers, but that is mainly because the offense was so depleted. If ROnnie Brown had not got injured I could see ht eDOlphins winng two possibly three more games than they did. Brown's injury was what put them out. By the end of the season they had gone through three or four RBs. The ones they have are decent and if they are healthy the Dolphins should have a better chance. Parcells needs to focus on finding a qb other wise this season is going to be just as bad as last year.

Miami has over 35 mill to spend in agency, i would not say that there is a premier free agent out there, but i can see them spend wisely and get some pretty good free agents. I would not be surprised to see them win 6 to 8 games next year. I believe a new QB is coming to town.

I think Miami is and has been a joke for a long time. Their team has hardly done much and they're not going to do much for a long time, so long as this headcoach is still around. They haven't found whats worked, and it shows.
